Closing an Ug

Dear Team,

I am contacting you today because I would like to inquire about the fees and procedure for closing my company (UG).
I would love to hire your services, but unfortunately, I do not speak German, so I would like to ask you if it is possible to receive help in English.

My company’s goal was to further a very specific type of theater in Berlin, which is why it has made absolutely no profits since day one.
It has only cost money for certain services, which are all paid for (I have no debts), and all the investment has come out of my own money.
Since these services were not many, I handled it myself, and I filed my taxes using an online application. I would also need somebody to check if my financials are in order.

As for the owner, stakeholders, managing director, etc., there is nobody else but me.
I am the owner of 100% of the shares and the de facto managing director.
There are also no employees, and I have never had any.

Given my situation (no profits, no employees, and no assets) I have been told by an advisor that there might be a “simple” or “fast” way to close my company, but I have not been given any further information.

Could you please let me know if this is something you could handle, what documents you would need, and what are the fees for the whole process?

Also, my husband and I are planning on leaving Germany in the coming months.
I do not have a set date, but obviously, we would like for this to happen soon (which is why I would like to start this process as soon as possible too).

Would this be a problem when it comes to closing the company?

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my message, and I hope you have a wonderful day ahead of you.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best,
Marcela
